Loose Screws

My kitten came and made a mew

I thought the petting would ensue

I bent down to pat her head

But off she ran, already fed

And so stuck her down with screws 

So I would not fall for her ruse

I set one down in each her paws

And red she turned like Santa Claus

Never more can she run away

For there my kitty now must stay.
